A new look for the Medical Scribe app

Shukant Pal
We’re thrilled to give Medical Scribe a fresh new look and feel that emphasizes new patient visits when you open the app for the first time. It's the only Medical Scribe app that truly is native, with zero lag and an ultra-minimal design that keeps the focus squarely on your patient, not the screen. This refresh also makes us the only medical scribe app compliant with Apple's iconic liquid glass design language. We have also added the ability to add additional patient notes during your visit that you can read later or guide our AI with for note generation.
Built for Speed and Clarity: The iOS 26 UI Refresh
The first thing you’ll notice when you open the Medical Scribe app is the focus on new patient visits. The clutter of past visits, settings, and customer support is now tucked in the sidebar.

We've focused on clarity and efficiency, ensuring that the critical information you need is always front and center. The new visual design minimizes cognitive load, making it easier to navigate quickly through patient files and documentation tasks, even during a busy clinic day.
Edit and Perfect: Full Patient Note Editing
One of our most requested features is finally here! The Medical Scribe app now includes the ability to fully edit generated patient notes directly within the app.
While our AI-powered transcription and charting are incredibly accurate, we know that clinical judgment and final review are essential. You can now:
Refine the SOAP note (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan).
Correct any transcription errors.
Add context or nuances that were not explicitly spoken aloud.
This new functionality provides complete control over the final document before it is exported to the EHR.
Comprehensive Documentation: Tracking Additional Notes
In addition to the primary transcribed note, patient visits often require tracking logistics, follow-up actions, or specific administrative details. The Medical Scribe app introduces a dedicated feature for tracking additional notes within the visit.
This separate section is perfect for logging:
Administrative tasks: "Patient needs lab requisition form faxed to Dr. Smith."
Follow-up logistics: "Remind patient to schedule a follow-up in 4 weeks."
Personal reminders: "Discuss insurance pre-authorization status next visit."
These notes live alongside the primary clinical documentation but remain separate for easy tracking and review, streamlining the handover or follow-up process.
